Good to know
Can I get a refund on credits I haven't used?
Yes. Purchased credits you haven't used can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. After that they never expire, so they're always there when you need them.
Do Lumens and credits work the same way?
No. Credits are bought. Lumens are earned for streaks, reflections and helping peers. You can convert Lumens into bonus credits (100 Lumens = 1 credit) or donate them to the Lantern Fund.
Can my university, employer or a family member pay?
Yes. Sponsors can buy credits on your behalf or give you a sponsor code. Universities can also fund students directly through the Lantern Fund.
Will a tutor write my essay or do my coursework?
No, never. Lantern+ is a learning platform. Tutors explain, coach and give feedback on your understanding, but they don't write, complete or edit assessed work for you. See our standards.
What if I can't afford tutoring?
That's exactly why the Lantern Fund exists. If you're care-experienced, estranged, first in your family at university, a student carer, disabled or a sanctuary scholar, you can apply for funded sessions.
